據(jù)世界天然氣網(wǎng)3月15日消息 在倫敦上市的勘探與生產(chǎn)公司Energean與以色列最大的天然氣買家以色列電力公司（IEC）簽署了天然氣供應(yīng)協(xié)議，這標(biāo)志著其以色列天然氣業(yè)務(wù)發(fā)展又進(jìn)一步。

因此，以色列電力公司現(xiàn)在將有權(quán)從Energean油氣田購(gòu)買天然氣。該協(xié)議是在Energean運(yùn)營(yíng)的Karish氣田與以色列國(guó)家天然氣管道（INGL）連接之后所達(dá)成，這是促進(jìn)以色列近海油田開發(fā)準(zhǔn)備就緒的一個(gè)重要里程碑。

Energean inks gas supply deal with largest Israeli buyer

London-listed E&P company Energean has signed a gas supply agreement with the Israel Electric Company (IEC), the largest Israeli buyer of natural gas, marking another step in the development of its Israeli natural gas operations.

As a result, IEC will now have the right to purchase natural gas from Energean’s fields. The agreement comes following the connection of the Energean-operated Karish gas field to the Israel National Gas Line (INGL), an important milestone in facilitating the operational readiness of the field development located offshore Israel.

Announcing the agreement with IEC on Monday, Energean said the gas price would be determined in each period, with purchased amounts determined on a daily basis. Starting upon the commencement of the first gas production from Karish, the agreement will be valid for an initial one-year period with an option to extend subject to ratification by both parties.

According to Energean, this is the first agreement of its kind for the company and represents a significant step in the development of the company’s position in the Israeli gas market. The agreement will optimise Energean’s gas sales portfolio and ensure full utilization of its FPSO capacity.
